Smart Concrete Public Company Limited was established on 30th January 2004 with Baht 350 million in Capital investment for conducting the autoclaved aerated light weight concrete block manufacture and distribution business (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete or AAC), under the name of “SMART BLOCK”. The production line is by an international standard technology, Wehrhahn of Germany. Location of head office and plant is 11 Moo.9 highway no. 334, Tambon Nong E-Roon, Amphur Banbueng Chonburi and sale office located on 947/144 Bangna-Trad Road, Bangna Complex Building, Bangna, Bangkok 10260

Major Development

2004

Established the Company under the name of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Product Company Limited with Baht 350 million in Capital investment
Obtained promotional privileges for fire-resistant materials or heat insulation production from The Thai Board of Investment (BOI).
Open the sale office in Bangkok, located on 947/144 Bangna-Trad Road, Bangna Complex Building, Bangna, Bangkok

2006

The lightweight concrete block of the Company was obtained the product standard certification (TIS) "TIS.1505-2541"
Started the commercial production and sale of lightweight concrete with the production capacity 3,000,000 sq.m. per year under the trademark of "SMART BLOCK"

2007

Changed name of the Company to "Smart Concrete Company Limited” for related to the Company’s trademark “SMART BLOCK"

2011

Increased registered capital from Baht 350 million to Baht 530 million by issuing new ordinary shares of 18 million with a par value of THB 10 per share, totaling Baht 180 million entirely to existing shareholders (Right Offering).

2012

Expand the production capacity of lightweight concrete to 4,500,000 sq.m. per year
Chonburi Concrete Product Public Company Limited, the parent Company, approved to spin-off the Company to list in the Stock
Exchange of Thailand.
The Extraordinary General Shareholder's Meeting approved to decreased registered capital of the Company from Baht 530 million to Baht 389.55 million for capital structuring based on spin-off plan for listing in the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

2013

In the 2013 Annual General Shareholder's Meeting of the Company had the resolutions as the following:Approved to change the par value from Baht 7.35 per share to Baht 1.00 per share.
- Approved to convert the Company into a public company and also change the name to be “Smart Concrete Public Company Limited”
- Approved to increase the registered capital by Baht 70.45 million to Baht 460.00 million with 460.00 million shares of the ordinary shares at Baht 1.00 per share of par value.
- Approved to offer the ordinary shares of SMART 70.45 million shares and the existing ordinary shares of SMART held by Chonpratheep Property Company Limited, which is a subsidiary of CCP, 44.55 million shares to the public in the total amount of 115.00 million shares (Initial Public Offering: “IPO”).
- Approved to list the Company into the Market for Alternative Investment (mai).
- The Company rebranded from “SMART BLOCK” to be “SMART BLOCK YEN”.
- The Company constructed the warehouse to store the raw materials and install additional machineries in to order to increase the capacity to 4.5 million sq.m. per year from 3.0 million sq.m. per year.

2014

The securities of the Company listed and traded in property & construction sector of the Market for Alternative Investment (mai) on October 2, 2014.

ปี 2559

ได้รับโล่ประกาศเกียรติคุณ และประกาศนียบัตรรับรอง “องค์กรนวัตกรรมยอดเยี่ยม 2559” (Total Innovation Management Award 2016)ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเป็นครั้งแรกของประเทศ เพื่อเชิดชูผู้ประกอบการไทยที่มีการจัดการนวัตกรรมทั้งองค์กรได้เป็นอย่างดี และพร้อมเป็นแบบในการส่งเสริมและสร้างความสามารถทางนวัตกรรมให้กับองค์กรในประเทศ

ปี 2560

ได้รับมอบฉลากประหยัดพลังงานประสิทธิภาพสูง หรือฉลากประหยัดพลังงานเบอร์ 5 สำหรับผลิตภัณฑ์อิฐมวลเบาภายใต้ โครงการส่งเสริมเครื่องจักรอุปกรณ์ประสิทธิภาพสูง และวัสดุเพื่อการอนุรักษ์พลังงานงานโดยการติดฉลาก จากกรมพัฒนาพลังงานทดแทน และอนุรักษ์พลังงานกระทรวงพลังงาน
